Due to the vast amount of information on the web site, which encompasses a lifetime of fly fishing, I have decided to organize this information into a much more accessible form. To meet that goal I am publishing a book entitled Creel Zero. The book contains much of the narrative from the site as well as the majority of the Flies of the Week. The book, sells for $24.95 and can be purchased from me by phone 717.713.8282 or firstname.lastname@example.org. A nominal shipping and handling fee will be added to those books requiring shipment.
I thank you for your interest and support over the past years and I sincerely hope you will find the book a worthwhile addition to your library as well as a good source of fly fishing information.

The weir dams below the South Holston Dam are key to maintaining the tailwater's integrity of the South Holston River.
Pulsing (controlled water flow rate over weir dams) keeps the tailwater fishable, the bugs active and the fish feeding off the surface.
Late afternoons saw roll over hatches of sulphurs, olives and black caddis. A fly fisher's greatest gift when on the water!
Trout took the Porcupine Quill (top row) when the black caddis appeared.
Another productive fly was the Puff Daddy in olive (middle row) and in sulphur (bottom row).
I suspect a Puff Daddy in black would have worked during the black caddis hatch.
See below videos for mid November mayfly and caddis activity. That's right....sulphurs in November!
